About Madan Mohan Malaviya, India

Madan Mohan Malaviya was a Hindu Brahmin from Uttar Pradesh. He was an active leader for the cause of freedom of India. He was an eminent Congress leader. He joined Hindu Mahasabha and was a little inclined to moderate communalism after 1922. He worked for agrarian reforms and fought for the cause of suppressed Indian farmers. He coordinated with Mahatma Gandhi for upliftment of untouchables. He is often blamed for Hinduist Ideology but he retired from active politics in 1937 on the ground of health. It is V.D. Savarkar and M.S. Golwalkar who propagated extreme Hindu ideology and founded RSS.
