resulting unique specimen of designs on 5 meters long sarees. Here you can interact with weavers and NGOs working for the upliftment
of grass-root level workers engaged in industry. These weavers are continuously facing hardships and living hand to mouth for generations
despite their hard work. You would also get a chance to peep inside whole demand-supply chain which has trapped poor weavers.
In humanitarian approach you can contribute for their upliftment.
You would explore the designs which are a luxury to aristocratic Indian and foreign families and a symbol of gifting tradition.
You would get an opportunity to see all varieties like kimkhwa, zari silk, organza, net, cotton…, jaamdani, tassar, rangkaadh, shikargah,
kadhua… silver work… heavy and light, delicate and ‘fancy’, vibrant and comfortable range of Sarees.
You can also take Sarees weaved by weavers which could be fetched in some hundred rupees here despite their
high cost in markets across India.
