  Chitwan National Park, Chitwan, Nepal

The Chitwan National Park which is Asia’s most excellent preserved conservation area just because at this park the wildlife flourishes with the surroundings remains undamaged and intact. To reach the park it took only half-hour flight from Kathmandu. The park through which the Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers are flowing lies in the inner Terai lowlands and consists of Sal forests, tall elephant grasslands, hills, ox-box lakes. The Chitwan National Park spreads over an area of 932 sq. km and is enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Natural) in 1984.
