Day 01 :
Varanasi (Arrival) - Evening Ganga Arti Ceremony at DashashwamedhGhat
After arrival in Varanasi , pick up from Varanasi Airport/Railway Station. Check-in to hotel.
In evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life, as you will be taken for World Famous Attractions of Varanasi ; Ganga Arti at Dashashwamedh Ghat .
You can enjoy the Ganga Arti on Boat (optional and by own cost). Have dinner and night stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Time for Evening Ganga Arti at Dashashwamedh Ghat
Winter – 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (approx.)
Summer - 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (approx.)
Day 02 :
Varanasi – Morning Boat Ride- Temple Tour – Sarnath Excursion
Early morning, we will be taken for Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi during Morning Boat Ride on the Ganges . It is a mystical and spiritual experience to watch Sun God along River Ganges. See Ghats of Varanasi like Manikarnika Ghat (Largest Cremation Ground of World) , Dashashwamedh Ghat , Assi Ghat and more during Morning Boat Ride .
Later, visit the Famous Temples of Varanasi like Kashi Vishwanath Temple , Annapurna Temple , Bharat Mata Temple , Sankat Mochan (Hanuman Temple) , Manas Mandir and BHU
Later, we will go for Day Excursion to Sarnath . Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park. The Tourist Attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha Temples , Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa and the Archaeological Museum
Return to hotel in Varanasi. Have dinner and overnight stay at Varanasi.
Day 03 :
Varanasi - Allahabad (150 KM, 3 Hrs) – Local Sightseeing – Hanuman Temple.
After breakfast, drive to Kumbh Nagari Allahabad . On arrival, check in to the Hotel/Swiss Camp in Allahabad.
Later, visit Local Sightseeing of Allahabad like Hanuman Temple and Allahabad Fort. Also cover, Anand Bhavan - one of the country’s best - running museums in memory of JawaharLal Nehru. Swaraj Bhawan - the house where the former Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born and Jawahar Lal Nehru Planetarium .
Later, enjoy some time at Bharadwaj Park/Chandrashekhar Azad Park (Alfred Park) if have time and interest. Proceed for Khusro Bagh; The Tomb of Khusrau (Emperor Shah Jahan's elder brother) who died in 1615. The tomb finally was made after seven years of his death. Allahabad is also famous for its special variety of Guavas.
Later, return back to hotel/swisscampt. Have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 :
Ardh Kumbh Mela Venue – Cultural Activity at Kumbh Mela Ground at Triveni Sangam.
After breakfast, visit Kumbh Mela Ground at Triveni Sangam . You can have Shahi Snan (Bathing Ritual) at Ardh Kumbh Mela at Triveni Sangam . Perform ritual ablutions in Holy Sangam Waters. Enjoy full day cultural activity at Kumbh Fair Ground.
Return back to Swiss Camp/hotel. Have dinner and night stay at Swiss Camp in Allahabad.
Note: Cultural Activity at ArdhKumbh Swiss Camp includes Camp Fire/ Folk Songs/Dances etc.
Day 05 :
Ardh Kumbh Fair - Shahi Snan (Bathing Ritual) - Cultural Activity - Drop to Allahabad/Varanasi
Early morning, go for Shahi Snan (Bathing Riutal) in holy river water at Triveni Sangam. Perform ritual ablutions and puja of rising Sun God.
Rest of the day is for Cultural Activities in Ardh Kumbh Fair. Meet and have Darshan of Akhada/Akhara Sadhus at Akhara Procession of hundreds of Naga Sadhus. Akhara Procession is world famous part of Kumbh Fair where thousands of Sadhus give public appearance and take bath in Sangam.
Through their continual yogic practices the Sadhus articulate the transitory aspect of life. You can seek spiritual guidance and blessings of Akhara Sadhus which is strictly managed by administration.
You can also take part in other rituals/cultural/religious activity like religious discussions (Shashtrarth) on Vedas and scriptures, devotional singing, mass feeding of holy men and women and the poor, and religious assemblies.
Later, drop to Allahabad Railway Station.
OR, Drive to Varanasi and later, drop to Varanasi Airport.
