Lord Jagannath Temple
Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri is the centre of tourist attraction and pilgrimage. It is one of 4 Major Char Dham Places in India (Kedarnath, Dwarka Puri , Rameshwaram and Jagannath Puri ).
Gudicha Temple
On the first day of the Ratha Yatra , the deities (Jagannath, Balarama and Subhadra) are transported in chariots from the Jagannath Temple to Gundicha temple . For next 7 Days deities remain in the temple and again taken to Jagannath Temple. The temple remains closed throughout the year.
Mausima Temple
During the return journey from Gundicha Temple , the chariot of Jagannath stops at the Ardha-Sani Temple (Mausi Maa temple). Here, Lord accepts his favorite rice cake known as Poda Pitha from his aunt (Mausi).
Ardh Shani Temple
Ardh Shani Temple is the places where Lord Jagannath resides during the Ratha Yatra.
Loknath Temple
Loknath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that Shivalingam in Loknath Temple is established by Lord Rama himself.
Jameshwar Temple
On the day of Radhastami, deity Sudarsana from the Jagannatha temple visits Lord Yamesvara. It is believed that once Yama (the God of death) tried to foil the meditation of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva became angry upon such activity by Yama and defeated him in a war. After his victory over Jama (Yama), Lord Shiva is known as Jamewswar (Yamesvara). It is Lord Jamesvara who is protecting the holy city of Puri from the influence of Yama.
Alabukeshwar Temple
Albukeshwar Temple is also dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is popular belief that visiting this temple make women fertile.
