Ayodhya will be largest tourist city in India at 2030 Sept 04th, 2020 from Navbharat Times

Yogi government has started work towards making Ayodhya news of Uttar Pradesh (Uttar pradesh news) the biggest tourist city of the country. The work is planned to be completed by 2030. At this time most of the tourists come to Harminder Sahib, Amritsar (Amritsar).

By 2030, Ayodhya will be the largest religious tourism city in the country if the Uttar Pradesh government's action plan lands. The government estimates that after 10 years the number of tourists visiting Ayodhya annually will be more than 5.25 crore. Currently, this number is 1.70 crore. At present, the highest annual 40 million religious tourists in the country visit Harminder Sahib, Amritsar.

On Thursday, CM Yogi Adityanath witnessed the presentation of the overall development plans of Ayodhya. He instructed to develop Ayodhya as a solar city. CM said that with the creation of Solar City, where the environment will be protected and balanced, this holy city will get a new identity.

Glimpse of culture seen in construction

Yogi said that Ayodhya Dham has mythological significance. Therefore, Ayodhya should be developed keeping its ancient culture intact. The construction should reflect culture and local architecture. All the ghats of Ayodhya should be beautified while preserving them. He said that the river front should be developed from Guptar Ghat to the new Ghat. It will also be a tourist attraction. Multilevel parking in Ayodhya should be such that it can be used for commercial use. Electric wires should be grounded.

States, countries, monasteries will be centers

The Housing Department will select world-class consultants to draw up the proposed Vedic City and Navya Ayodhya in Ayodhya. A master plan will be made through this. Currently 639 acres of land has been selected. Like the Vedic cities, its layout will be rich. Other parts of the scheme and roads will be connected near the statue of Lord Rama as if the rays of the sun are coming out. Guest houses from 25 states are also proposed. At the same time, space will also be reserved for 5 countries including South Korea. More than 50 plots will also be allocated to religious sects, monasteries, ashrams and dharamshalas. At the same time, the tourism department will soon send a proposal of 200 crores to the center under the Ramayana circuit. Through this, grand archway on all entryways of Ayodhya, development of parikrama paths, tourist facilitation center etc. will be developed. The Culture Department has also prepared an action plan for the culture walk. Walks will be held from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Ayodhya Development: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Ayodhya needs to be developed as a solar city. Due to this, on one hand the environment will be protected and balanced, on the other hand this holy city will get a new identity. The Chief Minister was holding an interdepartmental review meeting through video conferencing regarding the development work of Ayodhya at his government residence.

The Chief Minister said that the present state government is working with full commitment for overall development including basic tourism facilities in Ayodhya. The Central Government is getting full support in the efforts of the State Government. He said that to accelerate the development of Ayodhya, it is necessary to complete all the projects within the stipulated time frame by taking quick decisions at every level.
