Day 01 :- Varanasi– Ayodhaya (225 Km -04 hrs.) Allahabad
Pick-up from Hotel/Resident in Varanasi and drive to Ayodhya , visit to Rama Janma Bhoomi – a temple of Lord Ram. Ramayana states that river Sayaru’s bank is the birthplace of lord Rama. The 7th avatar of Vishnu, Lord Rama is believed to be taken birth here.
In the sixteenth century, Babur, the Mughal emperor built mosque “Babri Mosque” at the place where Rama took birth but it was destroyed in 1992. Currently stay has been put on that Land for creation of new temple by Supreme court of India.
Later drive to Allahabad & Overnight stay at hotel in Allahabad
Day 02:- Allahabad – Vindhyachal – Varanasi Drop
In the morning Pick up from Hotel/Resident and visit to Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati . Sangam - overlooked by the eastern ramparts of the Allahabad fort, wide flood plains and muddy banks protrude towards the sacred Sangam. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Enjoy bath in Sangam to get rid of all your sin.
Latter we will cover the other spot in Allahabad like Hanuman Temple and Allahabad Fort . Later proceed for Anand Bhavan - one of the country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawahar Lal Nehru. Swaraj Bhawan - the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born and Jawahar Lal Nehru planetarium. Latter enjoy some time at Bharadwaj park Alfred park (if have time and interest).
Later Visit Vindhyachal is situated in the middle of the two holy cities- Allahabad and Varanasi on the bank of River Ganges in the Mirzapur district. The city is dedicated to Goddess Vindhyavasini and is one of the renowned Shaktipeethas of the country and an important religious and pilgrim centre.
It is believed that Goddess Durga had established herself here after killing the demon king Mahishasura. Thus, Goddess Durga is also known by the name of Vindhyavasini in this area .There are many other temples and water springs (locally known as Kunds) in the vicinity of the town.
Vindhyavasini, Ashtabhuja and Kali Khoh are three main Shakti temples here, located on the three corners of Vindhya Parvat also known as Saktipeeths.
