Day 01 :
Varanasi - Digambara Jain Temple-Varanasi Local Sightseeing
Pick up from Varanasi Railway Station/Airpot. Check in to hotel in Varanasi.
In evening enjoy Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat . Get a glimpse of the spiritualism at the Ganga Ghats (river front). You can enjoy the Ganga Arti on Boat (optional and by own cost).
Time of Ganga Arti in Varanasi:
- Winter – 6:00 PM-7:00 PM approx.
- Summer – 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM approx.
Return to hotel. Dinner and night stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 03 :
Varanasi – Kakandi – (200 KM, 5 Hrs) - Kushinagar (250 KM 5 Hrs)
After taking breakfast, drive to Kushinagar . En-route visit Kakandi. Kakandi is the place of ‘Garbha’ & ‘Janma Kalyankas’ of 9th Teerthankar ‘Bhagwan Pushpdanta Nath’ also called ‘Suvidhinath’ . Some of the ancient pilgrimage places of Jainism in Kakandi are – Pushpak Vana where Bhagwan Pushpdant became Muni, and delivered his first sermon after attaining Kevalgyan.
Later drive to Kushinagar. On arrival in Kushinagar, check in to hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 04 :
Kushinagar –Nirvana Place Of Lord Mahavira At Pawanagar - Balrampur (250 KM 5 Hrs) - Sravasti (50 KM 1 Hr)
After breakfast,visit Local Sightseeing of Kushinagar like Nirvana place of Lord Mahavira at Pawanagar (Pawapuri) & Digambara Jain Temple in Kushinagar.
Later, we will leave for another Jain Pilgrimage Site Balrampur. Visit the 8th Tirthankara Lord Chandra Prabhu is blieved to have meditated here.
Later, drive to Shravasti . It is an important place for Jainism as Sobhanath Temple is believed to be the birthplace of the 3rd Jain Tirthankara Sambhavanath and it was here that he attained the ultimate light of knowledge through meditation. Shobhnath Temple (Jain Temple)is located in the Mahet area of Sravasti. He took diksha at Sahetuk Forest (Sahet). The birthday of Lord Sambhavnath is celebrated here in a big way on Kartik Purnima .
Later, drive to Sravasti. Dinner and stay overnight in Sravasti.
Day 05 :
Shravasti – Kaushambi (280 KM 6 Hrs) – Prabhasgiri (Prabhosa)
After breakfast, drive to Kaushambi . It is another Jain Pilgrimage place in India. Visit Prabhash Giri Pabhosa Digambar Jain Teerth , Pabhosa which is a place where 6th Jain Tirthankar Lord Padam Prabhu . This is a small hill. Main pilgrimage site in Kaushambi is Digambara and Shwetambara Temples of Bhagawan Padmaprabhu . One has to climb 200 stairs to reach a very old and famous temple.
Later drive to Allahabad . Check in to hotel. Have dinner and stay at night at hotel.
Day 06 :
Allahabad – Varanasi (150 KM 3 Hrs)
After breakfast in Allahabad, take drop at Allahabad Railway Station.
OR, Drive to Varanasi Airport. Return with sweet memories of Jain Pilgrimage in India
