Summary for Vaishno Devi Yatra Package from Delhi in India

Day 01 :

Delhi – Departure (Overnight in Train) - Jammu

Catch train from New Delhi Railway Station at 20:35 hrs by "12425" Rajdhani Express (AC 3 tier) or any other feasible train to Katra/Jammu.

Day 02 :

Jammu – Saraswati Dham – Banganga -Vaishno Devi Temple visit

Arrive at Jammu Railway Station. Pick up from Jammu Railway Station and drive to Katra by vehicle (as per group size). (En-route stop at Saraswati Dham to collect the Yatra Parchi). Check-in at hotel. Breakfast & drop till Banganga.

After breakfast, start your trek towards the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.

The 16 kilometers trek to Vaishno Devi Temple takes around 5 to 6 hours to arrive at the Vaishno Devi Cave Temple. On the way, there are several eateries where one can enjoy sumptuous delicacies. After reaching temple, join the row to go inside the Mata Darbar Where you see Three Pindis (Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati) inside the cave which symbolizes 3 Forms of Shakti-Tamas, Rajas and Satva Guna. After having Darshan, overnight stay at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.

NOTE:Register yourself at the office before starting your trek to Vaishno Devi.

Day 03 :

Vaishno Devi – Bhairavanath Temple (3 KM) – Ardh Kumari Cave (5 KM) – Katra (6 KM)

Early morning, start trekking up to Bhairavanath Temple (Trek of 3 KM). Offer worship at Bhairavanath Temple and trek down to Ardh Kumari Cave which lies en-route to Katra. Katra is down-trek of 6 KM from Ardh Kumari Temple.

After arrival in Katra enjoy evening in leisure. Later, have dinner and overnight stay in hotel in Katra.

Day 04 :

Jammu – Local Sightseeing of Kand Kandoli Temple – Raghunath Temple –Drop to Jammu Railway Station

After breakfast, morning is free for leisure activity. Check-out at 12:00 Noon followed by lunch. Depart for Jammu Railway Station after Lunch at 14:00 Hrs by private vehicle. En-route sightseeing of Kand Kandoli Temple, Raghunathji Temple & Bagh Bahu Garden, later drop to Jammu Railway Station.
