Day 01 :
Delhi Private Tour - Old Delhi Sightseeing & New Delhi Sightseeing
In morning, after early breakfast, pick up from Hotel/Residence. Start your Delhi City Tour by visiting Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Raj Ghat and Shanti Van (1st PM of India Jawaharlal Nehru’s Memorial). After that, visit Largest Mosque of India Jama Masjid.
Up to 9:00 AM we will arrive in Majestic Red Fort . Explore museums and historical buildings in Red Fort. Next explore the much sought after Market of Chandni Chowk famous for Handicrafts , Jewellery, Traditional Indian Clothes, and Metalware and many more articles at pretty good prices. Every street in Chandni Chowk is specialized for different type of shops. Here you can also relish upon delicious Cuisines of Delhi (Dahi Bhalle, Falooda, Kheerkadam, Gur Sandesh, Rasgulla and Misti Dohi).
After lunch, we will cover New Delhi Sightseeing - Qutub Minar and Ashokan Iron Pillar at Mehrauli which bears original inscription of Emperor Ashoka. (You will be able to understand what is written on inscription with the help of Holy Voyages Tour Guide). Also explore Humayun’s Tomb (Actual Tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun) .
Next, we will cover India Gate (India War Memorial) and latter drive past Government buildings including Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House at Raisina Hills) , Parliament House & Secretariat .
If time remains, we will take you to Largest Temple of World Akshardham (Optional). (Akshardham Temple closes sharply at 5:00 PM).
OR, Shop in famous markets of Delhi. (Connaught Place/ Palika Bazaar/Lajpat Nagar/Sarojini Nagar)
In the end we shall transfer you to your Hotel/Residence.
Note: Historical/Archaeological Sites in Delhi are closed on Monday.
