   National Rail Museum of Delhi, India

As is clear from the name only National Rail Museum situated in Chanakya Puri is distinctive in its gathering of rail engines and locomotives. In India the railway lines are since 19th century. In this museum there is a small in house museum which provides the history related to the progress and development of railway in India. When you visit the museum you will see that the locomotives in the museums are displayed in open.

   Nehru Museum & Planetarium of Delhi, India

The Teen Murti house which was the residence of India's first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was converted into a memorial after his death. In Nehru memorial the collection of gifts and many other items belonging to and acquired by Jawaharlal Nehru is kept. Within the compound of Teen Murti is located the Nehru Planetarium. In this planetarium we get an overview of the Indian Space program. A daily film show is organized in the specially designed auditorium. Through these films we get information about the Universe or any other topic related to space. You can also see the Capsule in which Rakesh Sharma went into space which is also kept in this museum.
