Summary for Vaishno Devi Yatra by Helicopter, India
Day 01 :
Jammu/ Katra (Arrival)
Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station/Airport , proceed to Katra by a private taxi. Check in at the hotel in Katra. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 :
Katra Helipad – Sanjichhat Helipad - Mata Vaishno Devi (600 Meters) – Bhairavanath Temple
Early in the morning, embark on a visit to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple via helicopter. Take a helicopter ride from Katra Base Camp to Sanjichhat Helipad which is 600 Mts from Vaishno Devi Temple. Have Darshan of Goddess Vaishno Devi. If have time and interest visit Bhairavanath Temple by foot or by pony.
Return back to Sanjichhat and thereby return to Katra Base Camp . Stay comfortably (overnight) at the hotel in Katra.
Day 03 :
Departure – Drop to Katra Railway Station
After relishing a hearty breakfast at the hotel, head to the nearest airport or railway station.
