Pushkar Fair is one of largest camel fairs of Asia. It is organized to commemorate emergence of Lord Brahma and creation of Pushkar Lake at the place. Millions of people, traders, cattle and farmers gather in Pushkar Fair to sell, buy or watch the glory of ancient traditions of Rajasthan besides thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.

Pushkar is testimony to vibration and enthusiasm of rich Rajasthani Culture. It is a fair that is enlivened by vibrant and fast dances of Rajasthan, folk songs, camel races and rajasthani handicrafts. People gather here to see several competitions organized by state and Municipal Corporation of Pushkar to attract tourist and promote tourism along with RajasthaniCuture. Fair attracts thousands of pilgrims across India as Pushkar is called Tirth Raj in many of Hindu Scriptures. People come here to take a holy dip in Pushkar Lake on KartikaPurnima. Whole Pushkar City is maintained and thousands of tents are laid to shelter tourists.

Whole city is dotted with fireworks and crackers of fascinating colors. This is the time when villagers have maximum opportunity to earn and generate revenue. Stalls, shops, and wheel-carts are filled with various local art and craft items. Rajasthani Ivory bangles that cover wrist to arms of women are specialty of Rajasthan besides unique Chintz, tie and die fabrics and Rajasthani Food.

Day 01 : 8th November 2016 :- Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival at Delhi Air-port or Railway station you would be assisted by our men to reach at your hotels. You would be taken for a visit to tourist places of Delhi. Your overnight stay would be at hotel. .

Day 02 : 9th November 2016 :- Delhi

After breakfast you would be taken to Old Delhi, the part of Delhi that was established and ruled by Mughals. In Old Delhi you would be given opportunity to see Raj-Ghat, the crematorium of Father of India, Mahatma Gandhi.

Later we would move to Jama Maszid or Jama Mosque built by Shah Jehan in early 17th Century. This is the Largest Mosque of India. Mosque is worth seeing on Eid-ul-Fitr. It is believd that 5,000 workers constructed it between1644-1656. Another itinerary for you is Chandni Chowk, the famous market of Mughal era is famous for all types of whole sale, handicrafts and brassware.

After Old Delhi we would take you to New Delhi. There you would see famous Qutab Minar. It was started by Qutubuddin Aibak, the founder of Slave Dynasty in 1192 but after constructed by Iltutmish. It has 5 minarets. Later you would be taken to - Rajpath, historical India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence. In evening you can enjoy shopping at Connaught Place or Palika Bazaars.

Overnight, stay would be at hotel room.

Day 03 : 10th November 2016 :- Delhi – Agra

After breakfast at hotel, we would drive to Agra, the home to wonder of world. On arrival at Agra you would check into hotel. After some rest you would visit Agra Fort. It was built by Shah Jahan, the great Mughal Ruler. It is evident from history that Shah Jahan spent eight years of his life after death of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal in gazing the Taj. After Taj Mahal you would be visited Mausoleum of Etmad-ud-Daula, the father-in-law of Jahangir.

In evening you would explore local markets of Agra and look for some souvenirs. Overnight stay would be at hotel of Agra.

Day 04 : 11th November 2016 :- Agra – Fatehpur Sikari - Jaipur

After breakfast, you would go to Jaipur and visit Fatehpur Sikri en-route. Jaipur is last site of your Golden Triangle Tour. On arrival, stay into hotel, you have booked.

Day 05 : 12th November 2016 :- Jaipur

After early breakfast you would head to Pushkar City Ajmer on boarding Shatabdi Ajmer Express. The whole landscape would be dotted with beautiful sand dunes. Green Oases of Rajasthan makes the scene landscape. Whole environment would be peaceful until you reach Pushkar Fair. After lunch we would visit famous Pushkar Fair. Pushkar Fair draws sightseers, pilgrims, nomads, breeders, herdsmen, farmers and traders with their caravan.

Day 06 : 13th November 2016 :- Jaipur - Pushkar Camel Fair

After early breakfast you would head to Pushkar City Ajmer on boarding Shatabdi Ajmer Express. The whole landscape would be dotted with beautiful sand dunes. Green Oases of Rajasthan makes the scene landscape. Whole environment would be peaceful until you reach Pushkar Fair. After lunch we would visit famous Pushkar Fair. Pushkar Fair draws sightseers, pilgrims, nomads, breeders, herdsmen, farmers and traders with their caravan.

Fair attracts thousands of pilgrims, traders, merchants, herdsmen, shepherds, farmers and others who wish to be a part of it.

Day 07 : 14th November 2016 :- Camel riding, Pushkar cricket, camel race and Tug of War

Get ready to stay at Pushkar in tented accommodation. You would visit Pushkar Fair 2016 and see all its uniqueness that would leave spell bound. The Camel Race, race of camels bringing articles in beautifully decorated costumes and colors. Tug of War is another competition where foreigners and locals enjoy rope pulling. Folk Dances and Folk Songs would fill a new enthusiasm in you. Magicians and Moustache Competitions are also great attractions for which men grow their moustache for years to compete.

Day 08 : 15th November 2016 :- Pushkar – bathing at the Ghats

Pushkar Lake is famous as a shrine of only Brahma Temple in India. Brahma in Hinduism is considered to be creator of earth. People take a holy dip on Kartik Purnima in Pushkar Lake as it is believed to be created on the same day by Lord Brahma. You would also get opportunity to bath in Pushkar Lake which is considered to be holiest of all Hindu Pilgrimage.

You would get opportunity to see diverse Indian culture where vagabond Sadhus and mystics with and the richest bath together at the bathing ghats of Pushkar Lake. Pushkar has 52 bathing ghats which are filled with devotees on Kartik Purnima. People gather here on Kartik Purnima to wash off their sins. The snake charmers, magicians, vagabonds, acrobats, mystics and all class of loiters come to this Pushkar Lake on Ghats on Kartik Purnima. Stay overnight at Pushkar in tented accommodation.

Day 09 : 16th November 2016 :- Ajmer Sharif and onward to Delhi

In morning you would visit Ajmer Sharif, the famous shrine of Sufi Saint Khwaza Muinuddin Chishti, a saint of Chishtia Silsilah in Sufism. He died in 1236 AD. Not only Muslims but also Hindus visit here. It is believed that all their wishes come true who visit this shrine. Even Great Emperor Akbar also visited this shrine.

Leading off the Dargah Bazaar we enter the shrine via a gateway which is beautifully carved and decorated with silver inlay works. In the courtyard stand two huge cauldrons with capacity of 2240 kg and 4480 liters for offering chicken soups to visitors.

In evening you would be taken to Delhi by train. Upon arrival to Delhi you would be assisted for your onwards journey to air-port or railway station. Tour Ends Here.
