Jainism- one of the oldest and widely spread religion in India. Attainment of salvation is the main motto of Jains. This religion prescribes the path of nonviolence towards all living beings.
Digamber Jain Teerth: The innumerable Jain Shrines in India spread the message of peace, non violence, love and enlightenment associated with the lives and activities of the Jain Tirthankars (Jain religious preachers). the teachings of the great Tirthankars- the liberated souls who, through hard penance, freed themselves from the cycle of birth and rebirth. And, offered to humanity the recourse to salvation, freedom from the ocean of Phenomenal Existence and liberation from the Cycle of rebirth through Jainism.
Day 01 :- Varanasi
Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India – It is one of the oldest living city of India, also known as Banaras or Kashi is situated on the bank of holy river – Ganges. Varanasi, a north Indian city is the holiest of seven sacred cities in Hinduism and Jainism.
Varanasi(Benaras) is the birthplace of three Jain Tirthankars namely Suparshvanath (7th), Shreyansanath (11th) and Parshvanath (23rd). Shree Parshvanath Digambar Jain Tirth Kshetra (a Temple) is situated at Bhelupur which have a great religious importance to Jains.
After enjoying the sacredness of Varanasi, meanwhile having lunch and visiting Sarnath.
Latter visit few important spot of Varanasi – Banaras Hindu University (a great centre for learning), Vishwanath Temple or Golden Temple (dedicated to Visheswara-Shiva with 800 kg of gold plating on its towers provided by Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Lahore), Annapurna Temple, Durga temple,Sankat Mochan Temple
In evening enjoy the famous Ganga Arti of Varanasi. Dinner and night stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 02 :- Varanasi – Kushinagar (250 KM 5 hrs)
After taking breakfast, drive to Kushinagar. Check in to Hotel, then have an excursion to Kakandi and latter have local sightseeing of kushinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 03 :- Kushinagar – Balrampur (250 KM 5 hrs) - Sravasti ( 50 KM 1 hr)
After having breakfast, we will leave on an excursion trip to Pawannagar.
By lunch, we will be back to Kushinagar and from there drive to to Balrampur. In evening drive to Sravasti. overnight stay in Sravasti.
Day 04 :- Shravasti – Allahabad (280 KM 6 hrs)
After breakfast, Its time to explore the city
Shravasti –well known for its religious association. It is an important place for Jains as Sobhanath temple is believed to be the birthplace of the of third Jain Tirthankara Sambhavanath. After taking a glimpse of ancient idols and inscriptions, which were found during excavation in sahet-mahet, trip group drive to Allahabad. Check in to hotel and overnight in Allahabad
Day 05 :- Allahabad – Varanasi(150 KM 3 hrs)
After taking early breakfast in the fresh environment of Allahabad, there is an excursion to Kaushambhi and Prabhash Giri. And after having lunch in afternoon and sightseeing drive back to Allahabad. Either take drop on Allahabad railway station or can drive to Varanasi from where they depart
