Allahabad Museum :- It is funded by Ministry of Culture and is established in 1931. This museum is known for its rich collection and unique objects of art.
Anand Bhavan :- Anand Bhawan, located in the heart of the city is the ancestral home of the first Prime-Minister of India and the freedom fighter, Jawaharlal Nehru. The bhawan has also been home to Indira Gandhi, who was also known as the "Iron Lady of India". Anand Bhavan is a large bungalow in Allahabad which has been turned into museum. It was constructed by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the new residence of the Nehru family when the original mansion Swaraj Bhavan was transformed into the local headquarters of the Indian National Congress. This place plays a pivotal role during the times of evidence; this was the place where almost all the important and secret meetings used to be held. This place is closed on Mondays.
